The hot desert in Nevada. The height of the heat of the day. And in the car Charlie Cross, traveling to national parks of America with her daughter Jolene, ends gasoline.
Some - like short of the nearest town, they find a gas station. But gasoline is not there. They spend the night in a trailer park, where Jolene fall in love once the two young men.
Meanwhile in the town is a series of bizarre murders and Jolene is in the heart of the dangerous whirlpool of which may or may not get out. But the real horror has just begun ...
